A. ENVIRONMENT
Commerce has long understood the environmental as well as the social and economic challenges and
consequences of climate change. Our member companies and federations continuously strive to further
reduce their environmental footprints.

B. LOGISTICS
In a greener, environmentally friendly Europe, sustainable transport is vital. However, the EU still proposes actions that would raise costs without significant environmental improvement. Commerce absolutely requires an optimal system for transport and logistics, which weds cost-efficiency with the reduction of negative environmental impact. Voluntary measures have already been put in place but we need EU support to fund research and innovation.
